Cosmetic Surgery Guidelines

With the increasing demand for cosmetic surgery and aesthetic works in Malaysia, there is obviously an increase in the number of practitioners to provide such services. However, please be alarmed of unlicensed practitioners. Educate yourself, protect yourself and look at the bigger picture.

Beauty procedures that can be performed by trained beauticians include chemical peels, cellulite and shape control, hair removal, microdermabrasion and nutritional advice. Cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures can only be performed by licencsed practitioners such as plastic surgeons or oculoplastic surgeons who are specially trained in botulinum toxin A, dermal filler injections and eyelid surgeries.
